Karsti Schelin, the founder of Koastal Kids Pediatric Therapy, is now giving parents of children with gross motor delays a local pediatric clinic with a variety of sensory-motor equipment to help facilitate their child’s development.  Early intervention is Karsti’s passion.  She and her patients enjoy the play based therapy sessions and parents feel empowered by the knowledge they gain about helping their children succeed.  Karsti specializes in the treatment of children with prematurity, developmental delay, hyopotonia, torticollis, sensory integration dysfunction, ASD, genetic and neurologic disorders.

Bringing Koastal Kids Pediatric Therapy to the clinical setting was also in response to the changes in funding by the Harbor Regional center for children with developmental disabilities who have private insurance.  Karsti has been nominated for a Spotlight Award for Outstanding Service Provider by the Regional Center of Orange County.
