 As one of the few offices in the greater Long Beach and Signal Hill area offering aquatic rehabilitation, we treat patients recovering from knee or hip replacement surgery, spine surgery, chronic arthritis sufferers, and people with severe functional limitations, with a challenging pool exercise program designed to minimize stress on the joints, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase strength and flexibility while minimizing pain. The water temperature is maintained at a tepid 92 degrees providing increased comfort while the varying depth of the rehabilitation pool, which has wheelchair access, simultaneously challenges each patient's functional level. For patients who are unable to swim or those fearing aquatic activities, a Certified Lifeguard is present for all aquatic rehabilitation sessions. We also have multiple floatation device options available giving the Therapist flexibility in accommodating each patient
